Oops, forgot the title
I seem to have strained my eyes, or at least that’s what it feels like. For the last little while, any time I’m on the computer for more than an hour I get headaches and feel nauseated. I feel that way now, in fact, so there won’t be much more of this typing thing. It’s as good an excuse as any to go to bed—I’m a little behind on sleep.*
My point, I think, is that this is frustrating. It means I’ll have to start making blog-reading the LAST thing I do when I sit down at the computer, not the first, otherwise I’ll spend my hour or more without accomplishing anything. Sigh. My life is so hard.
Okay, maybe some actual non-whiny content would be nice. Today John told me about a dream he had last night, and since he doesn’t write in his blog much, I feel it’s my responsibility to share it with the interwebs.
He was taking the GRE with a puppy. “With” not in the sense of “alongside,” but “by means of.” As in, he was in a room with a computer and a puppy, and the puppy was some sort of input device. (I think—maybe he can explain better.) The other test-takers and puppies all seemed to be working as efficient GRE teams, but John’s was misbehaving. One of his professors, monitoring the test, was disappointed by his weak puppy-entry skills.
Ooh yes, and I’ve made it three-ish weeks into the semester without skipping a single class. Hush. This is an accomplishment.

* Seriously, just a little. This sounds like I’m understating it and my sleep dep is actually horrible, but every time I try to add something like “Really,” I only sound sarcastic. No, REALLY really. Ach, it’s not important.
