Becoming crotchety before my time

Walking Sam around my parents’ neighborhood is fun and relaxing. Walking Sam around my apartment complex is not. Why? There are people here. They’re EVERYWHERE.

I generally get along with the people fine, but Sam? Does not. He’s afraid of all of them. (Tonight he was also deathly afraid of a pair of boots.) This translates into either barking and lunging or dashing off in the other direction. I’m not in a mood to deal with this right now, dog. Mama is very very tired today, and she justs wants you to poop already so we can all go to bed, mkay?

Apparently every child here between the ages of 8 and 18 got a skateboard for Christmas. Clatter clatter clatter.

Also, parents ought to teach their children not to approach strange dogs. Some dogs don’t like children, especially children who antagonize them and fucking BARK at them.

Christ I’m cranky today. Here’s hoping twelve more hours of sleep will see me coherent enough to go to school and work tomorrow.

School on a Saturday? Sure you don’t need to see another doctor?

    Hope you are recovering well!

Yup, for an online course. Fun, eh?
