Hi Natalie, this is Dr. X. I got your MRI results, and there’s definitely a mass of some sort in your neck. [No, really?] We’re going to get you an appointment with an ear, nose, and throat doctor to have it biopsied, okay?

Those doctors are always so ‘meedelevend’ (sory, don’t know english word for this).
Realy hope that a small operation will solve all.
The only sacry time will be between now and after that.

You might need the ear, nose and throat doc, but it looks like I need an eye doc. I was confused on why there was an update and how I missed the first post regarding a lAmp. Was there going to be a quest of epic proportions? Involving all lamps great and small:=? floor lamps, table lamps, blue lamps, red lamps, lava lamps?

Hopefully you can get an appointment promptly instead of stressing through the holidays.

@Imnama: Thanks! I don’t know what ‘meedelevend’ means, but I can make up a definition for it…maybe equivocating, or uninformative, or terse. I’ll have to remember to ask my mom.
@Sara: Lamp update!
The bulb flickered once last night, though it’s supposed to last another four months. Should I be worried? Fortunately I have two replacement bulbs (60W) stashed under the sink. Also, the shade is a bit dusty. More tomorrow.
