First day
My school day was blah—more or less what I expected, in other words. It reminded me of all the things I don’t like about UH. I muddled through it in a vlog that’s twice as long as it ought to be, but I don’t care because it’s past my bedtime.
I’ve had a long day: five hours of class, then four hours of training* for work. Usually when I need to destress I come home and bang away on the piano for an hour or so, but I’ve left most of my music** at my parents’ house. I made cookies instead.

* I’ve already been doing the job for which I’m currently training for a year and a half. It’s a long story.
** I’m fairly good at reading music, but I can play very few songs from memory. While I enjoy music, I don’t think I have any natural talent for it.

hey sister,
first days of school havent been fun since third grade. I just had mine today. It wasnt all that bad but it did remind me that
I traded convenience for amenities. A 15 minute walk to class sucks but my own bathroom and kitchen is definite coolness. *random thought *, but I was just thinking about how long ago after vacations dad would take out that old projector and we would grab the cushions from all the couches in the house and make a big bouncy area to lie down and watch them. Those were the good ole days. I wonder if they even still makes slides like that at the photo places. We need to remember next time im home to have an old picture slide night.

Awww, slide night! I’d mostly forgotten about that. Man, those were good times. Back then we still had that brown patchwork couch, remember? And shadow puppets! Wow, we definitely need to resurrect the slide show, at least once. Brilliant idea, brobro. =)
