Movie star
It has been brought to my attention that the photos of Samson in my Flickr set (see sidebar) are rather outdated, being from Christmas and all, and that I should perhaps put up some newer ones so the world can ‘ooh’ and ‘ah’ over my precious puppy.
He *has* had a haircut since those photos were taken, which makes him scruffy no longer, hooray! The new sleek style, plus the few extra pounds he’s gained (just a couple, I swear), give him a whole new look. Less mangy-shelter-dog, more Hollywood.
I don’t have any new pictures of him to show you, but I do have this video I made tonight out of my frustration at not having posted any new videos in almost two weeks (not addicted, not addicted, not addicted…). Sorry for the poor lighting—it’s too far past my bedtime to spend another couple hours redoing it.
I’m embedding it here instead of linking to the video on YouTube to save you from having to read the gushingly sweet comments people are sure to post once it goes live. You’re welcome.
Oh, and I hereby relinquish disclaim all responsibility for any damage you may do to your keyboard by puking on it once you hear me fawn nauseatingly over my pwecious widdle puppy-shwuppy. You’ve been warned.

Hi Natalie, I have been reading your blog since you went on vacation in Holland. I’m not sure where I came across it, except that maybe it was from the Houston Chronicle site-a link that I clicked on. I guess your being from Houston, like me, and wanting to see your video blogs intriqued me. Anyway, you inspired me to start blogging, although mine is no where near as interesting as yours. (I never get comments..lol) But, they are all about my pets, which inspired this comment. I too, talk to my animals as if they are children and can understand everything I say. Your dog, Sampson is adorable and I suspect, very spoiled like mine! I think if I had been lucky enough to have a daughter, (I have 3 sons) I would hope that she would have been like you! Anyway, keep blogging, I find your posts fascinating. Here is a link to a video I did of my dogs in our RV one morning.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrWrEyJ70HA

Hi Judy, thanks for the comment! I inspired you to start blogging? Gosh, I’m flattered. =) Stick with it! It takes a while for people to find you and start leaving comments. I’m sure, adorable as all your pets are, it won’t be long.
Where is your blog, if you don’t mind my asking? Maybe some of my thousands and thousands of readers (ok, more like three) would like to stop by and say hi.

Here is my link, although I haven’t written much lately, or at all. I have gotten a few comments that I thought were genuine but then realized they weren’t. They were from anon..and kept saying the same thing on different days. Oh well.. Oh, thanks for viewing my video.. I do have a zoo! hah!
