Quick notes
In case you were wondering, 6:45 is still much too early to be awake. I was only fourteen minutes late to class today, though, so that’s progress.
The fun part about trying to wake up way before my body’s done sleeping is that I have so many kick-ass dreams. I can only remember a couple of the ones from this morning, but they were HILARIOUS: I joined a nighttime exercise club, chased a hit-and-run suspect through a museum, TA-ed first grade at my old elementary school (where I met a girl I knew back then who had grown up to be Asian), and contracted rabies from a splinter I got while tending my underwater garden.
These episodes were all from more-or-less separate dreams I had within the space of twenty or thirty minutes. Do you see why dragging myself into consciousness is usually the less-attractive option by far?
Got home at 6-ish tonight after school and tutoring, haven’t done much of note since then.
Oh, except dance* around my living room for an hour. Because I’m wacky like that. At one point I jumped up on this big plastic tub full of file folders. Sam (who looooooves to dance with Mommy) jumped up there with me, so I scootched over to make room. But then he jumped back down, the tub tipped over, and I crashed awkwardly down on top of it. My leg got smooshed between the tub and the wall—it’s not broken, but there’ll definitely be bruises tomorrow.
I will be bug-bombing the apartment sometime very soon. They can hop, but they can’t hide.
It is way past my bedtime.

* Chumbawumba, BSB, NSYNC, and Lordi. I never said I had any taste in music, but these are fun to jump on the couch to. I can bye-bye-bye like nobody’s business.
